The Last Stance at Portland Arms is the quaint stone pub at Portland Manor Country Hotel, which was once a sheep shearing, shed and retains its special character today. The entrance and thresholds are low, so mind your head! The exterior is covered in ivy and has lovely views of the estate.
Inside, the cosy space is warmed by large wood-burning fireplaces and the pub is set up to serve draught beer on tap. Your host Bridgit will serve you with a smile and share the story of Portland Manor if you have an interest in history.
The pub is open daily from 8 am and a pub menu is served by the Cowshed Eatery which is just across the lawns.
