The Portland Manor House was built by Henry Barrington in 1871 after the Great Knysna Fire burned his original home to the ground. The history of the estate and the Barrington family is fascinating and will be told to guests who book the Manor House tour on Wednesday 5 April as part of our Easter Festival.
The tour starts at 3 pm and will be followed by tea, served on the terrace or in the grand dining, should the weather be inclement.
PRICE: R65 including scones and cream served with tea or coffee.
Booking is essential. Call or WhatsApp 060 753 7870.
