From Saturday 17 September, you’ll be able to enjoy an artisanal picnic in the gardens of our beautiful estate. Pack your own picnic blanket, order from our picnic menu, collect your picnic box from the Cowshed eatery, then relax on the expansive lawns overlooking Lawnwood Dam and enjoy your delicious meal in the outdoors, surrounded by the scenic beauty of Portland Manor.
There are various picnic sites on the estate – pick a spot on the lawns in front of the Portland Arms or the Cowshed, or picnic alongside the dam.
Picnics are packaged in recyclable boxes with serviettes and wooden cutlery. Glassware is supplied for beverage orders. Our picnic areas are not serviced, so be sure to place your beverage order with your food order.
You can also order a picnic to enjoy off the property, which will include your selection from the menu, serviettes, wooden cutlery, and non-alcoholic beverages, coffee and milkshakes. Head for the forest or the beach with your recyclable box filled with delicious goodies!
Picnics are available between 12 pm and 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays from the Cowshed eatery and you are encouraged to pre-order. Call or WhatsApp 060 753 7870.
