Family Suites share a bathroom, which offers complimentary bathroom amenities. Both suite rooms include a TV, with a small coffee station located in each suite’s foyer. Our Family Suites can accommodate four guests and is ideal for one traveling party. If you are in need of some quality family time or would like to explore all that Knysna has to offer with a group of close friends, then the Family Suite is the perfect choice.

One of the most glorious places in the Garden Route, fantastic gardens and grounds, huge Dam, beautiful walks, peacocks Zebras and even an Ostrich! They do fantastic weddings here too with authentic historic accommodations 😊

Great place to stay within easy reach of Knysna but out of the town and away from the road. Great hosts and wonderful breakfasts. If you have ever read Dalene Matthee's books on the Knysna area you must stay here (especially The Mulberry Forest, one of which still grows in the grounds of the manor).

Portland Manor is just outside of the City of Knysna. Please, if you don't know where this place is, don't go at night, it is very dark and it's a long way to get to Portland from the main road. So check in the morning or the afternoon. This place is beautiful and big. The rooms are huge and comfortable. I had great view from my room and also had a nice shower. The breakfast was great. The lady and her daughter are very friendly and helpful people. They have nice greenery. This place is great for planning meetings, a break away to write a book and just to isolate yourself from the world. It has this quietness.
