Well the summer seems to at an end and all the wonderful colours of autum are now with us, the estate looks very pretty.
We had a lovely season and i hope that everyone who stayed with us enjoyed themselves.
We had some truly beautiful weddings and i know that everyone including the staff were amazed at how beautiful it all looked , thank you to everyone for making them all so lovely.
Our chef has proved to be a big hit with his quiet charm and fantastic food.
We are busy planting our crops and it is so satisfying to watch them grow, and it seems we will have a great crop for the restaurant this year.
We are also busy with the new deck for the dam and i can't wait for it to be completed, it will be a magical place for functions and party's, overlooking the water and the mountains beyond, just stunning.
With winter fast approaching the pub is the perfect place for cozy drinks and meals by the blazing fire and our traditional sunday roast's in the Pack house restaurant are a great way to spend time with friends and family.
We look forward too seeing you all there to enjoy the tranquility and peace of Portland Manor, country life at it's best.
